The non-profit organisation- Women and Their Bodies (WTB), has recently opened a new helpline for cases of violence against women and girls.
Opportunities to receive help are not always made know to the public. Many women and girls avoid reaching out for aid in the fear that their situation will become worse simply by doing so, or from a feeling that they cannot be helped.
These days, as we spend many hours at home with our family, we are faced with tension, arguments, and in certain cases, acts of violence.
In response to the rise in violence, we, at WTB, have opened a helpline for you to call when feeling distress due to (any type of) domestic violence.
The line is managed by Miri Benshalom-Dor, Social Worker, and former director of the shelter Women to Women .
