What is Women and Their Bodies (WTB)?
Women and Their Bodies, founded in 2005, is a unique organization of Israeli women, Jewish and Arab, who seek to provide accessible, pragmatic, research-based information about women’s health and sexuality in order to raise awareness amongst women, regardless of age, socio-economic status and ethnicity, throughout Israel. WTB is a member of the ‘Our Bodies Ourselves’ (OBOS) international network of women’s health organizations, focusing on all aspects of women’s health, with particular focus on sexual and reproductive health rights.
The organization’s main activities include:

The massive and vital task of creating local and culturally adapted Hebrew and Arabic editions of ‘Our Bodies, Ourselves’, an unparalleled women’s health guide, to serve the entire female population of Israel;

An Online Information Center in Hebrew and Arabic (online in July 2009)

Community outreach workshops on women’s health rights and sexuality
Become a Social Shareholder
We invite you to show your support for WTB by becoming a social shareholder in WTB. How do you become a social shareholder – by purchasing a social stock in Women and Their Bodies. Your investment supports this vital endeavor and grants you (i) a copy of the culturally adapted Hebrew edition (to be published in April 2010) of “Our Bodies Ourselves”, (ii) printed acknowledgement of your investment in the Hebrew edition of the book and (iii) access to WTB’s publications and newsletters. The cost of each stock is $150.
